The Heartsaver CPR AED Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association instructor. Students who complete the online course and skills session, will receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

 Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a Heartsaver CPR First Aid course completion card, valid for two years.

HeartCode BLS (Basic Life Support) is the online portion of BLS blended learning that will prepare students for hands-on practice and testing of BLS skills. Upon completion of the online and skills portion with a American Heart Association instructor students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

Ideal for: physicians, dentists, advanced practice practitioners, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, respiratory therapist, infacility hospital providers.

HeartCode ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode ACLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA ACLS Instructor. To enter the course, participants must complete a precourse self-assessment and have active BLS certification card.

ACLS is an advanced course that builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR, and high-performance team dynamics.

Course length:  approximately 5 -6 hours and skills session 1 hour

Ideal for: This course is designed for healthcare professionals who direct or manage cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies; personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units; physicians, nurses, and paramedics; and others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.
